This has quickly become my favourite place to go for brunch! I am not normally one for breakfasts but I have been converted! Staff are friendly, atmosphere is lovely and relaxed and the food well as I said it's converted me to breakfasts so is really good! It's a buffet style breakfast and you choose how many y items you want and pay at counter before going to get your breakfast. Then you can sit and enjoy your cooked breakfast watching the world go by. Dog friendly as well which is a big bonus nowadays. I will be back soon guys.

I've been for breakie at Bunters alot over the years. It's changed hands a few times in the years..first time popping in under this owner. Greeted by a lovely waitress, lovely mug of tea and a quickly made hot breakfast. My only preference would be the option of tinned plum tomatoes instead of a fresh one. Lovely atmosphere. Will be back. Thank you

Updated Oct 2025 - Stopped by for breakfast with friend and the dog. Had a decent experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making it a really comfortable spot to relax and enjoy a proper breakfast - even with a dog in tow. We both had the Bunter’s Breakfast (2 for £20 now £24), and it was what you’d hope for - good portions, reasonably cooked, and made with okay ingredients. Nothing felt greasy or heavy, just really good food. The toast was warm, the service was quick, and everything on the plate hit the spot. If you’re looking for a top-notch breakfast in Newquay with a relaxed, dog-friendly atmosphere, Bunters Café is definitely worth a visit.
